About Derek
Derek found his passion for taking people’s ideas and turning them into custom pieces of art as a carpenter’s apprentice for a cabinet and trim company while attending Texas Tech. He met his goal of paying his way through graduation. After receiving his education, he used his newly gained knowledge, experience, and skills to start his own business and has operated Stellar Wood Works for nearly 15 years.
